Halloween drip cake

Halloween is such a fun time of the year. I don’t know about you but there are three things I really love.......cake, fancy dress and parties and Halloween allows us to have all three at once, how awesome is that?

I wanted this years Halloween cake to be simple but effective, so I went for a red velvet sponge, with a cream cheese buttercream, smothered in a white chocolate drip, coloured red to resemble blood. Obviously I won’t be supplying the knife with the cake, but the intention is for you to put a knife in the top and then when ready to cut the cake, imagine the cake in the centre in the room, you’re in fancy dress, lights dimmed, spooky music on and you pull the knife out to cut the cake, how gruesome and awesome would that look! That’s one hell of a spooky showstopper for Halloween!

Not to brag or anything but I have been told that my red velvet cake is the yummiest cake I’ve made, so I would certainly suggest ordering yours as quick as you possibly can.
